• Artist Biography

• Joseph Bayol was born in 1931 and today lives in St. Remy de Provence, a town in Southern France synonymous with painting where Vincent Van Gogh painted his ‘Starry Night’. The subject of this large scale oil on canvas is the interior of one of the green houses in the Parc de la Tete d’Or in Lyon, the public park is famous for its orangeries and botanical gardens.
