• Artist Biography

• Hugh de Twenebrokes Glazebrook (1855-1937) British Born in Hampstead and educated at Dulwich College, Glazebrook studied art at South Kensington under Poynter (1836-1919) and in Paris at the atelier Bonnat (1833-1922). Although best known as a portrait artist Glazebrook travelled widely in Italy sketching atmospheric scenes of everyday life. c.1910. Oil on artist board.
