During the 1950’s the artist assisted his father on concept car designs for Enzo Ferrari but when moving to New York early in 1960 he became engrossed in the “Pop Art” movement. Pietro Psaier was a skilled artist with watercolours, oils and pencil. It has been said that he was known as “Peter the Italian” by Warhol and his studio. His most popular subjects included Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, Mick Jagger and many other famous celebrities of the period.
