An early Victorian bronze mounted kingwood, amaranth and marquetry writing table, with a shaped rectangular top with eared angles and a leather inset top within a scrolling foliate inlaid border, on four slender tapering cabriole legs headed with pierced floral, scroll and rococo mounts, stamped to the top of the drawer: H. MAWER & STEPHENSON.
