    • Richard Albitz (German School 1876-1954) Richard Albitz was born in Berlin and graduated from the Fine Art Academy there, he developed a distinctive Post-Impressionist style using bold colours and thick impasto applied with confident and fluent brushstrokes. Albitz exhibited at the Great Berlin Art Exhibit in 1909 and in 1910, and in 1913 he was awarded a Gold Medal at the art exhibition in Vienna, Austria.
